A checklist/ summary of what you need to do before hajj.

Determine the number of days you will be away for hajj.
Determine the clothes and accessories you will need.
Get the right size bag to hold your belonging and allow space for gifts.
Make sure your name and address clearly indicated on and inside the bags.
Make sure that your bags can be locked.
Keep your jewellery in a safe place (if at all you carry these with you).
Determine the amount of money and type of currency you need to take for the trip.
Make sure you know the rate of exchange.
Make sure to know what is prohibited to take to Saudi Arabia.
Be a member in a group.
Make sure that all your documents to travel are in order.

A checklist / summary of what to do during hajj.

When you travel in a bus, be seated while it is moving.
Do not ride on top of busses, it is very risky.
Do not ride standing up.
Remember to be part of a group.
When you settle in your place in Makkah, get familiar with your surroundings and determine the direction of “Kiblah”.
Check where you may be eating, where drinking water and toilets are.
Check for laundry facility.
Determine the way to the holly mosque.
Ask for the nearest pharmacy and clean eating facility.
Avoid using food stands where foods may be exposed.
Get prepared a day or two for the hajj journey.
Remember it is only five days to be away from your place in Azizia.
Try to take only what is necessary, travel light.
See if you may store your other belonging in a safe place.
Check if there is a safe deposit for your valuables.
In Mina and Arafat you will be living in a tent with a group.
Make sure it is safe, clean and equipped with all your needs.
Avoid exposing yourself to the sun.

A checklist / summary of what to do after hajj.

Now is the time to rest, get cleaned and get good healthy meal.
It is time to think of the return to your country, check what is left for you to do.
If you want to buy gifts, remember there are good gifts to consider and reasonably priced.
Be-ware of fake goods.
Remember to take all your belonging when you depart.
Check if you have used a safe deposit for your valuable.
Check if you have used a store room for extra bags.
Make sure that you have all of the traveling documents.
Once again be seated when you ride a bus.
